WHY WE SHOW UP, EVEN IN THE RAIN: We never know the impact our standouts might have. Yesterday, despite the weather, eight of us gathered to honor Indigenous Peoples. Half an hour in the rain might seem small... but it wasn’t.
While we stood with our signs, a young man rolled down his window and asked what we were doing. One of our members explained that we were there to honor Indigenous history. He nodded and said, “We’re still here.” He identified himself as a member of the Nipmuc tribe and encouraged us to learn more about their struggle to reclaim their land in central Massachusetts. And just like that, the moment became personal, powerful, and deeply real. That’s why we keep showing up.

our community gathered after three events:
The DEADLY school shooting at Annunciation Catholic in Minneapolis.

In response, 30 people came together to say what must be said:
enough is enough.
We stood with families in Minneapolis and Colorado, and in defense of every child here at home. Gun safety means safer schools, safer neighborhoods, and a stronger future.
